2007 Speaking Engagements

Dusseldorf, Germany
- MarketVison was a presenter at Cutting the Edges of Market Research presented by SKIM Software, together with Sawtooth Software, in May 2007. MarketVision presentations were on “Response Elicitation: What should we ask respondents to tell us in discrete choice modeling” and “Advanced Design Considerations for Choice-Based Conjoint Studies”. Both presentations were given by Jon Pinnell, President & COO of MarketVision.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – MarketVision presented at ESOMAR Asia Pacific 2007 held in Kuala Lumpur in March.  Jon Pinnell, President of MarketVision, spoke on “Advanced quantitative techniques: Understanding where the leading edge is, and how to use it”, along with Ray Poynter, Director of Virtual Surveys (UK).


2006 Speaking Engagements
Sydney, Australia – Jon Pinnell, MarketVision’s President was a presenter at the GMI/Sawtooth Software Conference held in October 2006.  His presentation was “Statistical Techniques for Marketing Researchers: From the Fundamental to the Leading Edge”.   He also spoke on “Best Practices for Choice-Based Conjoint Surveys”.

Munich, Germany – MarketVision presented at the Design & Innovations Conference sponsored by Sawtooth Software and SKIM Software held in September 2006.  Jon Pinnell, President, and Lisa Fridley, Research Director, presented “Alternative Methods to Measure Changes in Market Size in Choice Based Conjoint”.

London, England – Jon Pinnell, MarketVision’s President was a presenter at the ESOMAR Annual Congress in September 2006 in London.  His presentation was on the use of Advanced Quantitative Techniques.

Monterey, California USA - Jon Pinnell, MarketVision’s President and Bryan Orme, President of Sawtooth Software were presenters at the AMA’s Advanced Research Techniques (ART) Forum in June 2006.  They presented “Introduction to Discrete Choice Modeling” and “Advanced Topics in Discrete Choice Modeling”.

Columbus, Ohio USABrian Dundon, Vice President, and Lisa Fridley, Research Director, spoke to the Market Research Exchange of Central Ohio on discrete choice tools and how clients can use these tools to support their product development processes.

Delray Beach, Florida USA - Jon Pinnell, MarketVision’s President, was a presenter at the Sawtooth Software Conference in March 2006.  His presentations included:
